Malcolm Kyle, Jr. "Buddy"

AIKEN - Malcolm "Buddy" Kyle, Jr. died on Thursday, November 28, 2024. He was born on October 10, 1947, to Malcolm Kyle, Sr. and Jean Kyle in Lawrenceburg, TN.
He is survived by his wife, Karen Wiederhorn Kyle one son, Eric (Rachael) Kyle of Greer, SC one daughter, Christy (Scott) Hoover of Arvada, CO five grandchildren, Grey, Ronan, Clara, Eleanor, and Nicholas one sister, Marquetta (Jimmy) Flowers of Lynnville, TN one aunt, Carolyn Mosley of Pulaski, TN numerous cousins in Tennessee, as well as Alabama.
Malcolm grew up in Lawrenceburg, TN, and graduated with a BS in mechanical engineering from Tennesse Tech University. He worked for Shell Chemical in New Orleans and DuPont in Old Hickory, TN. Before transferring to the Savannah River site in Aiken, SC, he continued his service to DuPont then Westinghouse before retiring from Savannah River site after 32 years of service.
His most treasured thing on this earth was his family. He really treasured spending time with his kids and grandkids planning vacations with them. His interest included woodworking, fishing, hunting, farming, and most recently beekeeping.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Ave. Lawrenceburg, TN. A private graveside service and Interment will be held at a later date.
