BATH, SC - Louise Josey Fricks Black, age 96, of Bath, S.C., daughter of the late Henry Josey and the late Nina Waller Josey, answered God's call and went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Friday, August 28, 2015.
She is survived by daughters, Annette Edmonds and Jane Petersen both of Bath, S.C.; twenty grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. She was born in Washington, Ga. but has been a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S.C. She was the oldest member of Bath United Methodist Church in Bath, S.C.
She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend.
She shall be greatly missed by her family and all whose lives she touched during the 96 precious years that God granted her on this earth. Death is not the end, as she has just made that great transition to her new Heavenly home where all is joy and peace and no sad goodbyes are ever spoken. Earth's loss is truly Heaven's gain. A graveside service will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Graniteville, S.C. on Monday, August 31, 2015 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Joseph Chandler officiating.
Mrs. Susan Cromer will deliver the Eulogy. Memorials, in her honor, may be made to Bath United Methodist Church, Drawer C., Bath, S.C. 29816. Napier Funeral Home, 315 Main Street, Graniteville, S. C 29829 is in charge of the funerals arrangements.
