Lester Hollingsworth
Aiken, SC - Lester Hollingsworth 75, of Aiken, passed away Sunday, December 14, 2025, at McCormick Post Acute, McCormick SC. Lester joined the Ashley Grove Baptist Church at an early age, there he served on the Senior and Male Choir. He is preceded in death, his mother, Rosie Lee Hollingsworth, brother, Michael Hollingsworth and a sister-in-law, Rosa Stewart Hollingsworth. He is survived by brothers, Henry (Rosa) Hollingsworth, Aiken SC, Herbert Hollingsworth, Weaver, AL and Cecil Leroy (Vivian) Hollingsworth, Ward, SC. A special lady and mother, Ms. Essie Bush (Miss Bush) He would call her as only he could. Clark Jones, dear friend, that was like a brother. He leaves behind a host of cousins, nieces and nephews, and other relatives. Funeral services will be held 11AM Monday, December 22, 2025 at Ashley Grove Baptist Church. Burial will follow in church cemetery. Friends may call JACKSON-BROOKS FUNERAL HOME 126 Fairfield St. SE, Aiken, SC 29801 803 649 6123 Sunday from 3-6PM.
