AIKEN, SC - With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Kristopher Steven Kisner (Kris), 47, of Aiken, South Carolina who left us unexpectedly on August 20, 2024.
Kris was born on July 1, 1977, in Aiken, South Carolina to Steve and Christy Kisner. Kris graduated from South Aiken High School where he played football, soccer and golf which led to his passion for playing golf into his adulthood.
Kris was also an avid outdoorsman enjoying both hunting and fishing. He worked in the construction field most of his life and mastered most trades in this field. He was extremely conscientious of his client's wishes and their happiness in his work. Kris had a caring and giving heart and was known to many as a good friend.
The most gratifying moments in Kris's life were the opportunities to lend a helping hand to others. Whether it be his infectious smile, his ability to make repairs, or simply his hugs to let you know he cared, it mattered to him to help. He certainly had a positive impact on many.
Kris is survived by his parents Steve and Christy Kisner of Aiken, South Carolina. His sister Stephanie Kisner Street and her family Eddie Street, Robbie Street, Riley Street and Diana Street of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. His brother Kevin James Kisner and his family Brittany Kisner, Kate Kisner, Henry Kisner and George Kisner of Aiken, South Carolina. His children Kristopher Cooper Kisner of San Diego, California and Kolton Miles Kisner of Pensacola, Florida.
His funeral will be Wednesday, August 28th at 3:00 pm at St. John's Methodist Church in Aiken with Pastor Tim McClendon officiating. A reception will follow in Ward Hall at the church.
