Stuart Peters Obituary

North Augusta, SC – Mr. Stuart "Kevin" Peters, 64, entered into rest February 20, 2026, at his home with his wife at his side. Memorial Services will be conducted Thursday afternoon, February 26th, at 2 o'clock at True North Church with Rev. Steve Davis officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service from 1 until 2 o'clock. A private interment will be held in Westover Memorial Park at a later date.

Kevin was born October 14, 1961, to the late Gerald Lamar Peters and Laura Shirley Sibert Peters. He was lifelong resident of Beech Island and North Augusta and was a co-owner and operator of Peters Machine &Welding in Beech Island. Kevin gained his entrepreneurial spirit from watching his dad start the business he and his brother, Larry, operated. As a true thinker, he had the unmatched ability to solve problems and understood how things worked. Kevin's talent and unique skillset allowed him to be a creator and inventor. Besides being a wonderful husband, Kevin was a brother, uncle ("Funky Unky"), and friend ("Wing Man"). He was known for his incredible wit and sense of humor, creative nicknames for his friends, making up songs, and always smiling with a happy disposition. Kevin was a faithful Christian who loved the Lord and was a devoted member of True North Church.

Surviving family members left to cherish his memory include his beloved wife, Diana Peters; his brothers, Steve Peters, David Peters, Larry Peters (Hope), his sister, Cheryl Kreider (Paul Neuburger); his niece, Brittany Norris; his nephews, Jason Peters and Robbie Kreider.
