Kenneth Horres Obituary
AIKEN - Kenneth Arthur Horres entered into eternal rest on June 30th, 2021 at his son's home in Auburn, Kansas surrounded by love, comfort, and peace. Kenneth was born on November 22, 1956 in Charleston, South Carolina to Kenneth and Lois Horres. He joined the U.S. Army in 1978 as a Special Forces tanker. Kenneth was grateful for his friends Mark Mills and John Lowman.
He was preceeded in death by his father Kenneth Turner Horres and his mother Lois Horres.
He is survived by his son SSG Kenneth Horres, USA Retired (Karin), his daughter Brandy Victoria (Chris), and his son Richard Horres (Jillian). His twelfth grandchild is on the way. He is also survived by his sisters Carol Rourk (Phillip) and Connie Key (Mike) and their children.
Visitation will take place at 3pm on Friday, July 9th at Levels Baptist Church. A service will follow at 4pm with the burial immediately afterward.

To Arties family & friends I can not how truly sorry I am at the sad news of Arties loss. To say he will be missed is an understatement Artie summed up laughter in one word. Always smiling with an infectious laugh that smile of his will never be forgotten. Those who knew him loved him as much as he loves life and lived it to the fullest. Artie Kenneth Harris we will miss you and will see you again soon. Seeing already at school with his infectious smile was always a bright spot of the day not knowing what he was up to next.
Party we all love you and will miss you terribly and we'll leave the light on for you. Much love to you Artie until we meet again with that infectious smile and laughter you will be missed. Long Live Aiken High School so you soon already much love Michael Eubanks.
