Be comforted, knowing that absent from the body is to be present with God, for those who believe in Him.

I am so sorry for your family's loss. I knew John when He was in high school and college. He was always kind and patient with the little bratty sister tagging along on a high schoolers excursion with friends. Prayers for your family and praying for peace as you remember treasured times and celebrate his life.
