AIKEN - James Hart Jr., age 87, husband of Penelope George Hart, of 1028 Edgefield Ave. NW, entered into eternal rest on Sunday September 22, 2024 at Eisenhower Army Medical Center in Augusta. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Saturday September 28, 2024 at Union Baptist Church, (Viewing 1-2 PM) 589 Union Church Ln., Aiken, SC. Burial will follow in Jessamine Memorial Gardens, Aiken, SC. Friends may visit the residence from 5-8 PM each day or JACKSON-BROOKS FUNERAL HOME, 126 Fairfield St. SE, Aiken, SC 29801, 803-649-6123 Friday from 2-7 PM. You can greet the family at the funeral home from 6-7 PM on Friday.
