Gregory Carpenter Obituary
Born on July 27, 1958 in Rome, Georgia, Gregory was the son of John Clark Carpenter and the late Rhetta Louis Carpenter.
Gregory was also preceded in death by his brother, Gary Carpenter.
In addition to his father, Gregory is survived by his brother, Chesley Carpenter (Kris); and his sister, Debra Owens (Jerry). He also leaves behind his children, Angel Carpenter, Gregory Carpenter Jr., Beth Johnson (Julian), and Wesley Carpenter (Benita).
He was a grandfather to Matthew Standridge (Zoie), Aiden Hollows, DJ Smiley, Wyatt Hollows, Darius Smiley, and Christopher Johnson.
Gregory's life was one of many seasons, experiences, and relationships. He leaves behind a family connected through both shared history and enduring bonds. May he be remembered in the ways that are meaningful to those who knew him.
