Gloria Williams
WILLISTON, SC - Funeral services for Gloria Jean Kennedy Williams, 72, of Williston, SC will be held one p.m., Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at Folk Funeral Home Chapel, Williston, SC with the Reverend Mark Wadford and Herman Keisler officiating; burial will be in the Williston Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from six to eight p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society, 128 Stonemark Lane, Columbia, SC or the Gideon's International, The Barnwell Camp, P.O. Box 86, Williston, SC 29853. Gloria passed away Saturday, January 24, 2015.
Born in Saybrook, IL, she was a daughter of the late Frank Kennedy and Nettie Marie Kief Kennedy. She attended Seven Pines Church, loved flowers and hummingbirds; Gloria fought a courageous battle with cancer for the last 5 years.
Survivors include her husband, William O'Cain (Bill) Williams; sons, James O'Cain (Barbara) Williams of Aiken, George Matthew (Stacy) Ditto-Williams of Williston; grandchildren, Jillian Ditto-Williams, Sahra Ditto-Williams and Joesph Ditto-Williams; sister, Donetta Reynolds of Rochelle, IL; nieces Rozanne (Freddie) Still, Kathy (Lon) Bowers and several other nieces and nephews from Illinois. She was preceded in death by sisters, Cletus Marshal, Velva Acree, Frances Kennedy Jordan; brothers, Irving Ayersman and David Kennedy.
