Fred Green Obituary
Windsor, SC - Funeral services for Rev. Fred Boyce Green, 73, of Windsor, SC will be held two p.m., Saturday, May 10, 2014 at Old Fashion Christian Ministries, Will-iston, SC. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday. Memorial contributions may be sent to the American Cancer Society, 128 Stonemark Lane, Columbia, SC 29210-1790. Rev. Green passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2014.
Born in Aiken County, SC he was a son of the late Jesse and Ethel Toole Green. He a member of Old Fashion Christian Ministries where he has been serving as pastor for a number of years. Fred loved to sell homemade relishes and jellies at the Springfield Flea Market on Saturdays, loved to fish, make knives and enjoyed woodworking.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Hamlet Green; daughters, Teresa (Brent) Bennett of North Augusta, Lisa (Chris) Herndon of Windsor; son, Scott (Vickie) Green of Aiken; grandchildren, Leanne (Luke) Jolley, Chassidy Lusby, Eli Bagwell, Felicia Green, Jacob (Hilary) Moody, Christopher Herndon, Mikayla Herndon, Mitch (Jennifer) Plunkett, Cody Allen (Jennifer) Green and Scott Dylan Green; great grandchildren, Allan, Ethan, Mya, Lane Boyce, Jamesyn, Alia, Mason and Harley; sister, Mamie G. (Otis) Barr of Wagener; brother-in-law, Randolph Hamlet; and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Freddie Michael Green; grandson, Mark Andrew Blackmon, Jr.; sisters, Carolyn Smith and Mary Wells; and a brother, Jesse George Green, Jr.
