Donna Lynn Herron
Aiken - DONNA LYNN (JOHNSON) HERRON entered into rest Monday, July 12, 2021 after a valiant fight with cancer.
Donna was a graduate of George P. Butler High School in Augusta. She lived her entire life in the CSRA, mostly the Aiken area. Donna loved her family above anything else and was especially proud of her two daughters, Heather and Emily, both residents of Aiken County. She was preceded in death by her parents, Emerson L. and Martha J. Kessler Johnson formerly of Rincon, GA.
Donna is survived by two daughters, Heather Taylor (husband, Codey) and Emily Herron; two grandchildren, who were her joy, Addison and Tucker Taylor; her sister, Sandra K. Campbell, Charlotte, NC; brother Glen E. Johnson and wife Janet, North Augusta, SC; nieces, Leanne Campbell, Kessler Cribbet and husband, Cash; nephews, Cory Campbell and his wife Nicole, Mitch Johnson and wife Madison; several other nieces and nephews, numerous cousins and other friends.
Donna enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren and loved to fish. She was a firm believer in the Lord and had a simple, caring way about her. She will be missed by all that knew her.
Visitation will be Wednesday evening, July 14th from 6 until 8 o'clock at Shellhouse - Rivers Funeral Home.
A graveside service will be held Thursday afternoon, July 15th at 2 o'clock in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Savannah, GA.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to the American Cancer Society (cancer.org) .
