Daniel Jones Obituary
AUGUSTA, GA - Mr. Daniel "Dan" Jones, 70, entered into rest January 30, 2018. The family received friends at Posey Funeral Directors Friday February 5, 2018, with a brief prayer service led by Reverend Nancee A. Cekuta. Interment will be private.
Mr. Jones was a native of Wilmington, Delaware, a former resident of North Augusta, SC, having made his home in Augusta for the past 15 years. He was a graduate of Cornell University receiving his master's degree in engineering from the University of South Carolina. He retired from Westinghouse at Savannah River Site and was a member of St. Bartholomew's Episcopal Church. He was a boating enthusiast.
Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Courtney and Patrick Perriello, Roswell, GA; a granddaughter, Amelia Marie Perriello, an aunt, Martha Moore, TN; the mother of his daughter, Debra Gosney Jones, North Augusta, SC; his loyal companion and friend of 12 years, his cat Dyna.
Memorials may be made to St. Bartholomew's Episcopal Church, 471 W. Martintown Rd, North Augusta, SC 29841

Dan was a kind, gentle person and a wonderful neighbor. He served on his homeowner's association board of directors for many years and everyone at Goodale Landing in Augusta sends their deepest sympathy to Dan's family.
