On behalf of GROW (Hope) formerly Sending Hope, we send our condolences. I know he had an instrumental impact on Pastor Dave's life and the Trails to Life camps in Wiang Pa Pao, Thailand. We are grateful for the impact he had on the lives of so many rescued girls in Thailand. His heart for this ministry will be carried on.

Besides my father, Chet had the most influence on my teenage years - as a biology teacher (I majored in biology in college), soccer coach, Trail to Life "foe" and trips to the Canadian wilderness. God surely greeted him with "well done my good and faithful servant!"

To my teacher, coach, and friend. Thanks Chet for being a great example of God's love in all that you did and showed in being a man of God. You will be missed but your efforts here will be remembered for years to come in the stories we share with our families. Great is your reward from your Heavenly Father who loves you more than we can. Enter into the joy of being with Christ!

Coach Weigle was one of the most influential men in my life as a boy growing up through high school. I had a good fortune to attend Mansfield Christian School and play soccer for him for four years. He taught me how to play tough, fair, and with purpose. He embodied what a Christian man should be, and I will always be grateful for him. I pray for peace for his family, and that his memory may be eternal.

I have so many wonderful memories of Chet.
First, being "daddy" to my best friend, Rebecca Weigle Earhart and always being over at their house growing up. I remember the year - " There will be no Christmas at the Weigle house! " Riding horses, and eating "find the chip cookies", his taxidermy shop down in the basement, and the thrill of toilet papering Mr. Weigle`s house or helping Becky, clean the toilet paper up.
Next, being 1/2 of "Chet & Arnie - The Aggressors" at TTLC. All week there was a thrill of maybe hitting the aggressor with a water balloon or Tuesday night "watch night" when you´re sitting in the dark in the woods scared to death and Whack! you get hit with one of Chet´s, water balloons and you have to watch from your cabin as they smother your campfire with water balloons at 2 o´clock in the morning! The outbound trips to PA and MI. He gave us a map and dropped us off in the middle of nowhere. We had to find our food first and then set up a camp to sleep. So many stories!
Third, growing up in Mansfield Christian since first grade, and having Mr. Weigle as a Biology, Bible and Hunter Safety teacher. I learned so much from him. I always respected and loved him!
We love you Chet and will see you in Heaven!
Love,
Cilla (your "other"daughter, your TTLC camper & Sargent, your student and sister in Christ)
