Warrenville - Carolyn Cook Hatcher, age 73, of Warrenville, S.C., beloved wife for 33 years to Jerry H. Hatcher and daughter of the late F. C. Cook and the late Azzilee Brown, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Monday, March 19, 2018. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Phillip M. Hatcher of Aiken, S.C.; daughters, Denise (Danny) McLemore of Lexington, S.C., Stephanie Patterson of Gloverville, S.C., Fran (Dewayne) Johnson of Beech Island, S.C. and Lynette (Larry) Thacker of Warrenville, S.C.; a sister, Margie Conaway of Graniteville, S.C.; ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was born in Aiken, S.C. and has been a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S.C. She was a dedicated member of Pine Forest Baptist Church in Langley, S.C. She was a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother who loved her family with all her heart, and they in turn loved her. She was just a precious lady who had a wonderful personality, and a lady of her caliber shall be greatly missed by her family and all whose lives she touched during the 73 years that God granted her on this earth. Death for her is not the end as she has just made that great transition to her new Heavenly Home where all is joy and peace in a land of endless tomorrows. A service, celebrating her life and homegoing, will be held at Pine Forest Baptist Church, Langley, S.C. on Thursday, March 22nd at 3:00 PM with Rev. Ron Doss and Rev. Bobby Grover officiating. The interment will follow at United Pentecost Methodist Church Cemetery in Warrenville, S.C. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until the hour of service. Memorials, in her honor, may be made to Pine Forest Baptist Church, 2829 Pine Log Rd., Warrenville, S.C. 29851.
