NORTH AUGUSTA, SC - Mr. Carl Furillo Polite, Jr., age 40, entered into rest on March 20, 2015 in North Augusta, SC.
A Memorial Service will be held a Guinyard Butler Middle School on March 28, 2015 at 12:30 PM. Reverend Alexander Pope, minister, and parents Carl F. Polite, Sr. and Blondell Moore Polite.
His devoted mother - Mrs. Blondell Polite (who cherished him as her best friend); his father - Mr. Carl Polite, Sr. (whom he fondly called "Pops" loved him dearly as his first born); step-mothers - Deborah Hayward Polite and Jacquelyn Simpkins Barnwell; six children - Tyana Joy Polite, Deadre Jamal Fisher, Zion Miller-Robinson, Eathon Miller-Robinson, Zmari Williams, and Daryl Ashton Simmons; three brothers - Christopher Sean Polite, Craig Richard Polite (Kelly), Caan Lee Polite (Lupita); two step-sisters - Monique Hayward (Tom), Remy Annelise Barnwell; two step-brothers - Jamal Hayward (Jamie) and Andrew Barnwell; seven aunts, six uncles, one special cousin - Robert Cave, III and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Carl or as we called him in college Malik was one of my closest friends. He was also my fraternity brother(Phi Beta Sigma Inc). But more than that, he was like family to me. He's had my back since the day I met him in 1996 & I've had his. I'm blessed to have been able to share almost 20 years of our lives as friends. I will carry on the memory of the great person he was along with me. I'm going to miss him. Love you & Blue Phi my brother!!!
