Bruce Wilson Obituary
AIKEN - Bruce Arnold Wilson passed away Tuesday August 30th at his residence. Born July 8th 1948 in Newberry, SC, he was a long time resident of Aiken, SC. He was a 1966 graduate of Aiken High School. He worked as an electrician for SRS for nearly 40 years until his retirement in 2005.
Bruce was an avid lover of golf, hot rods, and Acey-Deucey (the sailor version of Backgammon). The only things he loved more than his hobbies were his daughter Nicole, son-in-law Ryan, and their two sons.
The family would like to give special thanks to Remain At Home Healthcare for the exceptional services they have provided during Bruce's seven year battle with cancer. In particular, we give thanks to Darlene Bell and Vivian Moseley who have always gone above and beyond their duties as nurses and whom we now consider family. Because of their care and love Bruce was able to live comfortably as he fought lymphoma. While we are saddened by his passing we are comforted to know that he is healed and at peace.
Bruce leaves behind a daughter, Nicole Hicks (Ryan), and grandsons Grady and Colton.
The family also would like to thank South Carolina Cremation Society for their services during this time.
