Barbara Siderius, 86

Barbara Jane Siderius, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 21, 2025, in Kalispell, Montana. She was 86 years old.

Barbara was born on February 18, 1939, in Memphis, Tennessee, to C.I. and Clara Jane Marsh. After graduating from high school in 1957 she embarked on an adventurous career as a stewardess with American Airlines. While living in Dallas, she met the love of her life, Jerome "Jerry" D. Siderius, an officer in the U.S. Air Force. The two were married on December 17, 1960, in Waco, beginning a lifelong partnership filled with love, laughter, and devotion.

Barbara and Jerry raised a loving family together. She is survived by her husband Jerry and their children: Robin (husband John, children Mitch-wife Olivia, Alex, and Jack-wife Aya, and son Noah), Chuck, and Paul (wife Sarah, children Katie, Emma, and Abby). She is also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Joe (wife Bre and their children Josephine and Adilet), Reid, and Shea, the children of Mike and Joan

Barbara is also survived by her brother Wayne Marsh and his wife Bennie.

She was preceded in death by her son Mike and daughter-in-law Joan.

Known for her gentle spirit, patience, and inner and outer beauty, Barbara left an indelible mark on everyone who knew her. She was a devoted and nurturing mother, and truly flourished as a grandmother, lovingly known as "Nanny" to her many grandchildren. Her warmth, grace, and steady love enriched the lives of her family and friends.

Barbara will be deeply missed, but her family finds peace knowing that she is at home in heaven, where her arrival is surely being joyfully celebrated.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 7th, at 10:30 am at First Presbyterian Church. 540 S Main Street in Kalispell.
