Anthony Michael Rollins
Aiken - A celebration of life service for Mr. Anthony Michael Rollins, age 42 will be held 2:00 pm Thursday September 1, 2022 at Cole Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Alan Quarles and Rev. Terry Butler officiating. Interment will follow in Southlawn Cemetery. Mr. Rollins entered into rest on Saturday August 27, 2022, at his residence.
He was the beloved son of Mr. Tony Rollins and Mrs. Laurie Barnes Rollins. Mr. Rollins was a native and lifelong resident of Aiken. He was of the Christian faith and a member of New Covenant Praise Church. Mr. Rollins was a graduate of the 1997 class of South Aiken High School. He worked at Staples for 15 years as a salesperson and Kroger for 6 years as a cashier. His hobbies included music and singing, cooking, crafts, and traveling to the mountains and beach. Mr. Rollins also wrote and published poems.
Additional survivors include: a special friend Jacob Cook, Aiken; a fur friend Harper; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Mr. Rollins was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents George D. Barnes, Sr., and Frances Thompson Barnes and his paternal grandparents Wiley R. Rollins and Mary K. Rollins. A visitation with the family will take place one hour prior to service at COLE FUNERAL HOME 1544 UNIVERSITY PKWY (118 BYPASS) AIKEN, SC 29801 803-648-7175. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the American Diabetes and Heart Association 7272 Greenville Ave. Dallas, TX 75231.
