McGowan, Thomas William, baptized into the hope of Christ's resurrection on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at the age of 83.
Beloved son of the late James and Ann McGowan; brother of Dennis (Mary Kay) McGowan, Patricia (Leslie) Hall, John (Linda) McGowan, Michael McGowan, and the late James (Donna) McGowan Jr.; dear uncle, great-uncle, and friend to many.
Services: Visitation at Our Lady of the Pillar Catholic Church, 401 S. Lindbergh Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63131, Tuesday, March 31, 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral Mass, 11:00 a.m. Interment Calvary Cemetery. If desired, contributions may be made to Doctors Without Borders or The Parkinson's Foundation. As a service of the SCHRADER Funeral Home and Crematory, friends may sign the family's on-line guestbook at Schrader.com.

Tom will always be "Tommy" to my sisters and me who grew up across the street from the McGowan family. My immediate memories are of a smart, serious man with a quick and dry sense of humor. Tommy was a devoted Catholic who gave of himself in service to Pillar parish over many years. Rest in peace, Tommy. Celebrate the Risen Lord with the Lord this Easter!
