Robert Roell Obituary

Robert Joseph Roell, 81, of Creve Coeur, MO, passed away peacefully on March 22, 2026. Born on March 8, 1945, in Batesville, IN, Robert lived a life rich with love, family, and purpose.

Robert earned a Master's degree in Marketing and Business from Indiana University. He began his professional journey with Venture Stores before transitioning into a successful career as an independent business owner in sales. His dedication and work ethic were hallmarks of his professional life.

A devoted husband to Linda K. Roell for 53 years, Robert was a steadfast presence in the lives of his family. He is survived by his loving wife; sons Bryan (Jessica) Roell, Brad (Suzanne) Roell, and Blake (Molly) Roell; his cherished grandchildren Lauren, Mimi, Megan, Maeve, Lucas and Madeline; and his sisters Pauline Roell, Mary Jo (Michael) Amorini, and Phyllis Dodson. He was predeceased by his parents, Paul R. Roell and Mary Louise Roell (née Rump). Robert also leaves behind many cousins, nieces, nephews and close friends who will remember him fondly.

An avid St. Louis Cardinals fan, sports lover and a passionate reader, Robert found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He was the heart of his family-a source of unwavering support and unconditional love. His grandchildren adored him for his warmth and wisdom, while his siblings treasured the lifelong bond they shared.

A Mass will be held in Robert's honor at Incarnate Word Catholic Church on Saturday, May 2nd at 10:30 a.m.

Robert's legacy of love and devotion will continue to inspire all who knew him. May his memory bring comfort to those he leaves behind.
