Aimee Nougue Obituary

Nougue, Aimee A. age 97, of Fullerton, CA passed away peacefully on August 28, 2018, in the comforts of her home. Aimee was born in La Habra, California on July 3, 1921 to her French parents Jean-Baptiste and Catherine Nougue. Tragedy struck Aimee at an early age of 8 years old when her beloved mother passed away. Aimee and her father moved to Fullerton shortly thereafter. Aimee spent a few years living among the Cloistered nuns in Anaheim, CA, where she became more passionate about her Catholic faith. Aimee's father re-married and soon Aimee was embraced by her loving step-mother Marie Plou. Aimee was a local girl at heart. Aimee attended Fullerton High School and further went on to Fullerton Jr. College. She worked at the Auto Club on Harbor Blvd. for 39 years before she retired. Her life was like the fragrances of her 59 prized blooming rose plants. Aimee emanated bouquets of beauty, love, faith, generosity, and devotion to all those she called friends. A viewing will be held on Thursday, September 13, 2018 from 6-8 PM, with a vigil service at 7 PM at McAulay & Wallace Mortuary, 902 N. Harbor Blvd., Fullerton, CA. A funeral mass will be held at 9:30 AM on Friday, September 14, 2018 at St. Juliana Catholic Church, 1316 Acacia Ave., Fullerton, CA, followed immediately with the interment at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery, in Orange, CA. Celebration of Life reception will immediately follow the gravesite service.
