RIDGE SPRING, SC - Mr. Wardie Ernest Davis, age 90, of 213 Hazzard Circle, Ridge Spring, SC, died Friday, November 27, 2015.
Homegoing Service will be held Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at 12:00 Noon at Mt. Alpha Baptist Church, Ward, SC. Rev. Eldwin Griffin, Pastor, officiating. Interment in the church cemetery. Mr. Davis was a lifelong member of Mt. Alpha Baptist Church.
Viewing Tuesday from 1:00 PM - 7; 00 PM at the funeral home. Wednesday body will lie in state at the church from 11:00 AM - 12:00 Noon.
Survivors: Four Daughters: Yvonne Lucky Of Aiken, SC, Bronda Davis, Vera Hammonds, Sharon Padgett all of Ridge Spring, SC, Seven Sons: Ashnell Davis of Ridge Spring, SC, Marquis Davis, Ward, SC, Leonard Davis, Ridge Spring, SC, Milton Davis, Lexington, SC, Fayroal Davis, Windell Davis, Aiken, SC, John Davis, Ridge Spring, SC. A foster son, William Lott, West Palm Beach, Florida; One Sister: Vera Sumpter, Wagener, SC; 25 Grandchildren; 28 Great-grandchildren.
