The Edwards family sends our prays and condolences to the Adam family

I was saddened to read of Vernon's recent passing. We worked together many years at USCA and had many, many lively discussions about all diverse topics. He was an integral part of keeping the University running smoothly and will be missed by all who knew him.

My condolences to the Adam's family. Vernon was a gentleman and a friend throughout our days we spent together at USCA. I will truly miss his friendship and lovable manner. God's angel have captured a jewel. God Bless!!

My condolences to the Adam's family.

I had the privilege to work with Vernon for 24 years at USCA. I enjoyed our visits and talks about so many different things. I missed him after he retired for the second time in December. I look forward to seeing you again one day and singing in that heavenly choir. Hugs and prayers for his family and friends.

I always enjoyed bantering back and forth with Vernon when he came by my office. We both got a kick out of aggravating one another. He will be missed and I have no doubt he is running the streets of gold! May God comfort all of his family and many friends.

Vernon will be greatly missed by his USCA family. His pleasant demeanor and that one of a kind smile were so special to me. He was always genuine, straight forward, professional and caring.

May God continue to bless and strengthen his loving family during this difficult time.

Vernon was my best friend and like a brother to me. We have know each other nearly 40 years. My heart breaks for his family in this sad time. I am blessed to have known him. I will greatly miss him. God be with you all.

I worked with Vernon many many years, He helped me correct a lot of my mess-up's when I was trying to make shipments or use his mailroom. I considered him a good friend.

Vivian and family...May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

Take your rest my dear dear friend. You are truly missed here! I imagine that Heaven is not the same since you arrived; it was okay before but it is so much better now. I have 30 plus years of memories and I will treasure them always! This is not a good bye, but a simple see you later "Old Skool". In the meantime and between time, I hope to be able to make a pie with just the right amount of "meg" and a "tab" of flour...
