Steve was a great friend, neighbor and fun guy to be with on Cortez and Kathryn. Had tons of fun in this great neighborhood with him and his brothers the Moya's. Sorry to see you go.

We had the great pleasure of having worked with Steve at Albertsons. He was a great man with a wonderful heart and we will sure miss him.

Coach Steve you were a wonderful person I can`t believe your gone. Me and my family were be forever greatful to you. You were a hell of coach to my brother Isaac at Santa Fe High. I had the pleasure of going to high school at Santa Fe high with Steve in the late 70's,and although I hadn't seen him in many many years, I thought of him today and the Santa Fe high senior class of 1979. To the Nuanes family Im so saddened and sorry to hear of Steve's passing, and for your loss. May the lord comfort you and your families and guide you through this time of grief and sorrow today and always. Rest in peace my friend/classmate you will be missed.

I was a freshman in high school and Steve was a senior and when he could he made sure I always had a ride home after b- ball practice. What a ball player Steve was for SF High I remember when they took the state basketball champoinship. I can still here his name when he scored two points by the announcer. Basket by Steve Nuanes.
