Dick was a close friend of my husband, John Burkhart and that is how I met Dick. I will always remember Dick as a gentle, soft spoken fellow. I know John and Dick remained friends from the time they met in high school until Dick’s death. We went to the funeral home for calling hours but the line was out the door and John was so weak he couldn’t stand in line for very long so we left. We felt sorry but had no choice.
Dick was a great friend of the Burkhart family.
