Renee Lynn Boozer
Windsor - RENEE LYNN BOOZER, 48, beloved wife of James M. "Tray" Boozer, III, passed away Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers.
A native of Columbia, SC, Renee was a daughter of Leo Mitchum and the late Ginger Diane Beasley Mitchum. She was a graduate of Airport High School where she played softball and volleyball. Renee was a former volunteer firefighter with the Lexington County Fire Department. She was a former supervisor with Aiken County 911 Dispatch. Renee was currently a H. R. Administrator for SRNS at the Savannah River Site.
Renee was a devoted "Boy Mom". She spent countless days cheering for her sons on and off the field.
Survivors, in addition to her husband Tray, include two sons, Peyton Boozer and Blake Boozer, all of Windsor; her father, Leo Mitchum (Elaine James), Lexington, SC; two brothers, Kevin Mitchum (Allison), Newport, NC, Tony R. Mitchum (Mandy Purvis), South Congaree, SC; nieces and nephews, Kira and Kyle Yulee, Ayden and Addyson Mitchum.
The family will receive friends Saturday evening, August 28th from 6 until 8 o'clock at Shellhouse - Rivers Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the funeral home with The Rev. Wes Holbrook officiating. Interment will be at 4:30 PM in Southland Memorial Gardens, West Columbia, SC.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions for the boys may be directed to SRP Federal Credit Union, 750 E Pine Log Road Aiken, SC 29803. Make checks out to "James M Boozer III".
