Pete was a friend of my father“s since childhood growing up in Charleston and throughout the years while living in Aiken. I remember him coming over to the house when celebrating my father`s 70th birthday. Here is a picture taken on the beaches of Charleston after the war of Pete on the right and my dad in the middle and their friend Ed. He was in my father`s wedding, (see picture of him in the middle next to my two aunts) when he married my mom. He was such a gentleman had a great personality and was a great dancer! I have a lot of fond memories of him throughout the years. RIP Pete.

You will be greatly missed. Thank you for keeping Ascauga Lake as beautiful as it was until I got there to enjoy the fruit of your hard labor. Thanks for all of the times you invited me into your home to bring the Ascauga Lake history alive. I hope that I can continue keeping these memories alive as good as you did. Rest in Peace My Friend.
