Pete Wallace
Greenville - Pete Wallace, 85, passed from this life to his spiritual life on October 12, 2022.
Pete was the son of the late R.L and Ruth (Britt) Wallace of Aiken, SC.
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Billings Wallace, his daughter Paige Wallace Watson (Kelly) of Atlanta, GA and his son Peter Wallace of Mt. Pleasant, SC. He is also survived by his grandchildren, who he adored, twins Peyton and Parker Wallace and Preston Watson, and, his sister Beverly Ross of Aiken, SC.
He is predeceased by his grandson Aubrey Porter Watson.
Pete graduated from The Citadel, Class of '59. He was the Social Chairman his senior year and was very active in reunions, parties, and golf events throughout the years. Pete retired from E.I DuPont de Nemours and Company.
A memorial service will be held Monday, October 17, 2022 at Mackey Funerals and Cremations at Century Drive, 311 Century Drive, Greenville, SC 29607. There will be a family visitation at 11am with the service at 12:00pm. A Celebration of Life will be held immediately after the service.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to The Citadel Foundation (Class of 1959 Scholarship Fund) in Pete's memory.
The family would like to thank Prisma Health Hospice of the Foothills and especially Jennifer H. and Traci L. for their loving care.
