Oscar was a hero in our old neighborhood for being a basketball star at Tech High School. We all admired him and his family here in Indianapolis, IN.(Riverside neighborhood). I especially happy that he became a Christian and obviously lived a righteous life and he is now in the presence of The Lord Jesus Christ! God Bless all of you; his family.

I had the extremely good fortune to know Oscar over 71 years. We both attended grades 1-8 at PS 44 in Indianapolis; moreover, Oscar was a natural athlete even then and was an excellent student and was well liked by all his classmates and teachers. Our December birthdays were one day apart, and we visited by telephone in many Decembers over those years and shared stories of family, friends and our days in Indianapolis. Oscar was a great friend. He will leave a void in the hearts of every one who knew him. I offer my most sincere sympathy to Rhilda, Bradley and Amy, and to their families.
