Dear Grace and Peter,I thought of your mother earlier today and realized that it had been awhile since I'd had a message or seen a recent post from her. I decided to look at her page and learned that she passed away. Your Mom was my mentor and supervisor at the Girl Scouts in Philadelphia in the early 80s. She was so gracious, so elegant. She was also firm and held her staff to high standards.I admired her greatly and was thrilled to reconnect with her a few years ago and to be back on her holiday card list! :-) I lost my Mom last year and have some idea of what you're going through at this season in your lives. I send you my deepest condolences on the loss of your wonderful Mom. Your family is in my prayers. Sharon Pelham

I have great memories of Nan while I was a student at Rosemont College. As a student I worked in the Development Office under her leadership. Wonderful Wonderful Person! So talented. She will be missed by many friends I am sure.

Nan was one of my dearest students. She taught me so much. I will miss her wonderful personality, smiling face and creative soul. I own one of the last paintings she painted in guided studio with me and i am grateful for having had her in my life. My prayers to his family and my love to Nan.

Nan represented me in her Gallery for a decade. We had so many good times and laughs. She became a supportive friend way beyond the usual business relationship. I was fortunate to know the whole family, cats included!

Nan and I met over three decades ago and became dear friends, sharing wonderful times in Boston, New York City, Maine, Colorado, New Mexico and Aiken. In 1992, she turned me into a cat person by giving me a lovely kitten, aptly named Rosemont for her employer when we first met. I could always depend on Nan for good advice, even if it wasn't necessarily what I wanted to hear at the moment....which is the sign of a good friend. I will miss her.
Sending prayers and healing karma to Grace, Pete and their families.
