Mildred P. Huffman
AIKEN, SC - Funeral services for Mildred P. Huffman, 89, of Aiken, SC will be held twelve noon, Monday, January 2, 2017 in the Folk Funeral Home Chapel, Williston, SC with the Reverend Robert Huffman officiating. There will be a family burial at Sunset Memory Gardens, Graniteville, SC immediately following the service. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Monday. Pallbearers will be Burma Eubanks, Edwin L. Eubanks, Howard L. Eubanks, Tommy V. Eubanks, Tadd S. Eubanks, Ashely Paige Eubanks and Daniel Burma Eubanks. The family has requested that memorial contributions be given in Mildred's memory to a charity of one's choice. The family would like to thank Pruitt-Health Care and Hospice of Aiken for all of the care they showed during these past few years. Mildred passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2016.
Born in Aiken County, SC she was a daughter of the late Anderson Pennington and Estell Wall Pennington and was married to the late T. W. Huffman. Mildred previously owned and operated the Singer Corporation franchise in Aiken for many years and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include three sons Edwin "Burma" (Sue) Eubanks of Montmorenci, Michael (Sandy) Huffman of Green Castle, IN, Reverend Robert (Trish) Huffman of North Augusta, SC; a brother Melvin (Frances) Pennington of Windsor, SC; a sister-in-law Violet Pennington of Williston, SC; five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by sisters Vivian Bradbury, June Newsome and her brothers Roy and Rudolph Pennington.
