Michael W. Miller
HILTONHEAD - Michael Walker "Bird" Miller , 41, died Tuesday, October 10, 2017 in Hilton Head.
Born in Norwich, CT, Michael was a son of William D. and Susan Siart Miller. His early childhood was spent in Uncasville, CT prior to moving to Aiken when he was 14 years old. He was a friend to many, old and young alike. Mike was an avid hunter and was a member of Cy-press Bay Hunt Club in Blackville, SC. He had a great love for Lowell, ME, especially Pas-sadumpkeag Mountain and the entire Champion family. He moved to Hilton Head Island in 2009 and worked as a landscape supervisor.
Survivors, in addition to his parents, Bill and Susan include his sister, Kelly Malyszek (Brian); nieces and nephew, Sydney, Lindsey and Brian Malyszek, all of Aiken; aunts and uncles, Joseph C. Siart, Jr. (Chris), Griswold, CT, Charles Q. Miller, Kailua - Kona, HI, Lisa Wheeler Foley (Dick), Livermore, CA, Mitchell Bressette (Mary), Plainfield, CT, Michelle Bressette Ritzo (Pe-ter), Portland, CT, Christine Bressette McCoy (Bill), Waterford, CT; and some of his cousins, Joseph Siart III, Matthew Siart, Heather Mihailides, Kim Frechette; his godmother, Barbara Asal; his godfather, Robert Misiaszek.
A Funeral Liturgy will be held Friday afternoon, October 20th at 4 o'clock at Shellhouse - Rivers Funeral Home with The Very Rev. Gregory Wilson as celebrant. The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service.
