AIKEN, SC - Entered into rest Saturday, January 14, 2017, Miss Mary Elizabeth Hughes, age 24.
Mary was a native and a life long resident of Aiken County. She was the daughter of Mrs. Roma Adelene Hite Hughes, Aiken and Mr. Stephen Mark Hughes, Sr., Wagener. Mary attended Aiken High School and was of the Baptist faith. Mary was a very charismatic, fun, and carefree person who truly loved her family and friends.
Additional survivors include one son, Master Zachary Meyer, Aiken; one daughter, Miss Maleigha Deas, Aiken; two brothers, Josh Hughes and Stephen Mark Hughes, Jr. both of Aiken; one sister, Chelsea Rabun, Waynesboro, GA; maternal grandparents, Roma and Jimmy Jay, Monetta and her maternal grandfather, Earl Hite, Aiken; paternal grandmother, Ruth Hughes, Wagener; several nieces and nephews. Mary was predeceased by her paternal grandfather, James Morris Hughes.
A private service celebrating Mary's life will be held at a later date. COLE FUNERAL HOME 1544 UNIVERSITY PARKWAY (118 BY PASS) AIKEN, SC, 29801. 803-648-7175.

As the anniversary of her going to the Lord approaches, I know your heart is heavy. There are no perfect words but just wanted you to know I think she is quite beautiful and looks so much like you. From storii I RA of her life, she also had sense of humor and love of others. God bless you this week and I will keep you in prayer!!
