Mary Eichorn Obituary

Mary M. (Smith) Eichorn, 96, a lifelong resident of Stoughton, died at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton, Sunday, June 2. She was the wife of the late George E. Eichorn. Born in Stoughton, she was a graduate of Stoughton High School. Mrs. Eichorn was a stitcher at several area businesses, including Cable Raincoats in Stoughton. She worked for 50 years before retiring 31 years ago. She was a member of the Mass. Womens Guild at Immaculate Conception Church in Stoughton and the Stoughton Historical Society. Mrs. Eichorn was the mother of Barbara J. Cunningham of Stoughton and the late George E. Eichorn. She was the grandmother of David and Brian Cunningham. She was preceded in death by four brothers and sisters. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral was held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rte. 27), Stoughton, Wednesday, June 5, at 11 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton, at 12 p.m. Visiting hours were Tuesday from 5-7 p.m. Interment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Stoughton.
