Mary Cummings Obituary
DENMARK, SC - Mrs. Mary Ellen Cummings of Denmark, SC entered into her eternal resting place on June 21, 2015. She was born on May 1, 1943 to the late Woodrow Dicks and Edna Price Dicks in Barnwell, SC.
Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, June 26, at 3:00 pm at Greater Sweet Branch Baptist Church in Govan, SC. Burial will immediately follow in the Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Cummings attended Barnwell County Schools and graduated from Allendale County Training School in 1961. She was a member of the Ned Branch Baptist Church in Barnwell and later joined the Greater Sweet Branch Baptist Church in Govan, SC. She was united in holy matrimony to the late James C. Cummings, Sr. and resided in Aiken, SC. From this union six children were born.
She leaves to cherish her memories: two sons, James Cummings, Jr. of Hephzibah, GA and Charles C. Cummings of Aiken, SC; four daughters, Marilyn D. Cummings of Hephzibah, GA, Eleanor (Dean) Bryant of Beech Island, SC, Jackie Cummings Koski of Dayton. OH and Gwen Cummings Dunn of Atlanta, GA
The family will receive visitors at 170 Fox Haven Drive in Aiken.
A viewing is scheduled at Wright's Funeral in Denmark, SC from 5-8 on Thursday, June 26, 2015
