Mark Bennett Obituary
North Augusta - The Visitation for Mr. Mark Bennett, 48, who entered into rest June 10, 2018, will be held Friday evening from 6 until 8 at the Local 150 Union Hall, 1211 Telfair Street, Augusta, GA.
Mr. Bennett was a lifelong CSRA resident, having spent his youth in Evans, GA, and later moving to North Augusta, SC. He was employed as a Maintenance Supervisor with SRNS Operators and was a member of the Local 150 Plumbers and Steamfitters Union. Mr. Bennett was an awesome father, husband, and the perfect example of a man. He was loving, funny, energetic, outgoing, and hardworking. Mr. Bennett was predeceased by his mother Earlene Bennett.
Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Leigh Ann Bennett; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Franklin Mark Bennett, Jr., North Augusta, SC, and Rush Heath Bennett and Ashlyn Kay Blanchard, Graniteville, SC; father and stepmother, Bobby and Shelley Bennett, Harlem, GA; and two brothers and a sister-in-law, Steve Bennett, Aiken, SC, and Dennis and Amy Bennett, Evans, GA.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shepherd Center, 2020 Peachtree Road NW, Atlanta, GA 30309.
