NEWELLENTON - Entered into rest Saturday September 30, 2017 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers, Mrs. Loretta Coyeos Barnett, age 85. Mrs. Barnett was the wife for 51 years to the late Mr. Jack Herbert Barnett, and a daughter of the late Mr. Angelo Coyeos and the Late Mrs. Agnes Yorks Coyeos. She had made Aiken County her home since 1968 and Retired in 1987 as a reactor operator at E.I. DuPont De Nemours at the Savannah River Plant with 15 years of service. In her earlier days, Mrs. Barnett was a telephone operator in Detroit MI and Fairbanks, Ak. Mrs. Barnett had a love for animals and was of the Catholic faith. Survivors include three daughters, Pamela (Eddie) Salvo, Barnwell, SC, Denise (Kenneth Mitchum) Walsh, Windsor, SC, Debby (Marty) Reiff, Hartsville, SC; one sister, Pauline Davis, New Ellenton, SC; ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Mrs. Barnett was also predeceased by one sister, Catherine Swanson. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers that memorials be made to Animal Advocates, P.O. Box 1924 Barnwell, SC, 29812.
