Linda Huestis Obituary
Family and friends may call Monday (September 21) from 10:00 until 12:00 noon at Weeks-Keysor Funeral Home, 5 Phelps St., Lyons, with a funeral service to follow at 12:00 noon. Order of the Eastern Star will have a brief ceremony before the funeral service. Burial will be in Lock Berlin Cemetery.
Donations may be made in Linda's memory to the Fresh Air Fund, 633 3rd Ave., 14th Floor, New York, N.Y., 10017.
Linda was born on January 11, 1943, in Lyons, a daughter to the late John and Dorothy Derby Everhart. Linda was a registered nurse and worked for the Department of Corrections in Augusta, Va., and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Linda is survived by her beloved husband, Alan Heustis of Lyons; her children, Janette (Rudy) Schreider of Colo., Monique (Todd) Nortier of N.C., Pierre (Aylwyn) Pelletreau of Holland, N.Y., Andrea (Rory) Laman of Va. and Bethany (Daniel) Baril of N.C.; 11 grandchildren; a sister, Susan (David) Shuler of Lyons; brothers, John Norman (Karen) Everhart of Ga., and Keith Everhart of Rochester; and many nieces and nephews.
Linda was predeceased by her sister, Audrey VanDyne.
