Linda Ray Vaughan Felkel
NORTH AUGUSTA, SC - Mrs. Linda Ray Vaughan Felkel, wife of Mr. Jake (J.T) Felkel, entered into rest on January 9, 2017 at her residence 414 Julia Avenue, North Augusta.
Linda was born in Savannah, GA to the late Henry Hartford and Emma Grace Clifton Ray. Before retirement, she worked for the City of Augusta Police Department as a payroll clerk. She was a member of Jericho Methodist, Cameron, SC.
Surviving with her husband, Jake (JT) Felkel, North Augusta, SC are four children: Sheila Craft, North Augusta, SC, Keith Vaughan (Bonnie), Martinez, GA, Joey D. Vaughan, North Augusta, SC and Marty Rivers (Tommy), Graniteville, SC; a sister, Jean Litsey, Atlanta, GA, a brother, Keith Ray, Savannah, GA, twenty-two grandchildren and twenty-seven great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her ex-husband and friend, Carl M. Vaughan, Sr., a son, Carl M. Vaughan, Jr and a sister, Barbara Grace Ray.
A Celebration of Life Service will be on Wednesday at 2 o'clock in the Hatcher Funeral Home Chapel.
