ACKERMAN, Dr. John E. - On Saturday, December 13, 2008 at Baycrest Hospital. John Ackerman beloved husband and best friend of Frances. Loving father and father-in-law of Martin and Michele, Penina, and David and Joni. Pre- deceased by his sister and brother-in-law Shirley and Ben Silverman, and by his brothers Albert, and Sam. Devoted brother-in-law of Sonya Ackerman, Esther Ackerman, Morris and the late Nancy Einstoss, and Henry and Sonia Einstoss. Beloved grandfather of Alek, Astrid, Kobi, Shimmy, and Hadassah. Dear uncle of many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Victor for his devotion and compassionate care, and to the staff at Baycrest.
