Elsie Tootle Obituary
NORTH AUGUSTA, SC - Mrs. Elsie Eve Tootle, 90, passed away peacefully on May 21, 2016, at Golden Living Center in Augusta, Ga.
Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM at the Rowland Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Milton Summerall officiating. Interment will follow at Pineview Memorial Park.
Elsie was a homemaker and beautician in Belvedere, SC for many years before moving to Golden Living Center in Augusta, Ga. in September, 2013. She was a member of First Christian Church in Belvedere, SC for 65 years.
She is survived by her husband, George Tootle, age 92, of Augusta, GA., formerly from Belvedere, SC. On March 13, 2016, George and Elsie celebrated their 73rd wedding anniversary and were honored with special recognition from the South Carolina Disciples of Christ Regional Council and Aiken County Council.
Elsie is also survived by her sister, Eunice Watkins of Evans, GA; a daughter, Janice McDade of Marathon, FL; a son, Gary Tootle of Suches, GA; grandchildren, Gary Tootle, Jr. of Carbondale, IL, Bryan Fowler of Greenville, SC, Brandon Fowler of Jacksonville, FL, Theresa Gorman of Watkinsville, GA, and Rita Noles of Jackson, SC; and 7 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at Rowland Funeral Home from 1:00 PM until service time.

Our love and prayers have been for Elsie many years that she was a great neighbor and friend to talk to due to her ability to make our day great even though she had many pains-A true mentor and our SC mother who will always be here on Rita Ave.
