Elaine Adams Jones
NORTH AUGUSTA, SC - Mrs. Elaine Adams Jones, 77, wife of the late Lawrence "Bob" Jones, entered into rest on Wednesday, October 1st, 2014.
Born in and a lifelong resident of Aiken County, SC, she was a daughter of the late Julius Ben and Larney Mae Smoak Adams. She retired from Georgia Regional where she was an Administrative Secretary. She was a member of Clearwater First Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir and was a member of the Red Hat Society. Mrs. Jones enjoyed reading and spending time with her family, especially her dog, Roxie. The loving care provided to Mrs. Jones by her caregiver, Patrice Snipes, was greatly appreciated.
Additional family members include sons, Tim (Tammie) Jones, Graniteville, SC, Chris (Karen) Jones, Graniteville, SC and Todd (Jamie) Jones, Bath, SC; grandchildren, Timmy (Jody) Jones, April Jones, Jeffrey (Kim) Jones, Tara Guzman, Allison (Scott) Brown and Bryson Jones and great-grandchildren, Kyler Jones, Madison Jones, Dakota Jones, Ava Guzman, Elly Brown, Savannah Jones ,Hanna Jones and the late Kenley Jones.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, October 3rd, 2014, at 2 o'clock in the chapel of Hatcher Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Langley, SC, with Pastor John Bolin officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Graniteville, SC. Pallbearers will be Timmy Jones, Jeffrey Jones, Bryson Jones, Kyler Jones, Scott Adams, Scott Brown and Steve Gregory.
Memorials may be made to Homestead Hospice or Clearwater First Baptist Church.
The family will greet friends on (this evening) Thursday, October 2nd, 2014, from 6 until 8 o'clock at Hatcher Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Langley, SC.
