Clarke Saunders Obituary
Aiken - CLARKE THOMAS SAUNDERS, 26, passed away, Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at his residence.
Born in Augusta, GA, Clarke was a son of Charles Tucker and Carla Wingard Saunders III. He was a lifelong resident of Aiken, graduated from Aiken High School and attended The Art Institutes in Charleston, SC. He was a member of St. Thaddeus Episcopal Church. He enjoyed golf and college football and was an avid Carolina Gamecocks fan.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, are his two sons, whom he loved and adored, Patrick and Thomas Saunders; two brothers, Charles Tucker "Chad" Saunders IV. Chandler Tate Saunders, both of Aiken; paternal grandmother, Mary Clarke Saunders, Aiken; maternal grandfather, Alan Wingard, Aiken.
A graveside service will be held Saturday afternoon, May 19th at 2 o'clock in the St. Thaddeus Episcopal Churchyard with The Revs. Grant Wiseman and Joseph Whitehurst officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to St. Thaddeus Episcopal Church.
