Special Agent (FBI) Grooms was the person responsible for my recruitment into the FBI. I will always be grateful for this man. I was coaching at Aiken High School (where I graduated) when SA Grooms came and spoke to me about a career in the FBI. I have since retired and currently reside in Alabama. I do come home (Aiken) frequently.
Please accept my sincere condolences.

I always liked Mr. Grooms. He was a good guy and served as a chaperone for many of our FBC church trips growing up. I am sorry to hear of his passing and my thoughts are with his family
