Aiken - Bobby R. Corbett, age 79, husband of the late Earline Holsenback Corbett and son of the late Charlie Corbett and the late Anna Ree Rushton Corbett, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, May 16, 2018. He is survived by daughters; Renay Corbett (Robert) Trotter and Teresa Corbett (Rob) Barden; sisters, Charlene Steele and Lillie Widener; brothers, Jimmy Corbett, Ricky Corbett, Tillman Corbett and Wendell Corbett; grandchildren Derrick (Amber) Barden, Krissy (Brandon) Geisler, Chasity (Cam) Kneece, Rob (Summer) Trotter and Amanda (Jeremy) Thorne and nine great grandchildren. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by brothers; Charlie Corbett, Carroll Corbett and Edwin Corbett. He was born in and was a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S.C. He retired from the Woodhead Division of Graniteville Co. as a Lab Technician. He was a member of the Johnston Church of God. He was an easy going, caring person who loved his family with all of his heart, and they in turn loved him. He also loved his God, his church and his church family. A man of his caliber shall be greatly missed by his family, friends and all whose lives he touched during the 79 years that God granted him on this earth. Death cannot destroy precious memories, and he shall live on in the lives of his family and loved ones. A service, celebrating his life and homegoing, will be held in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home on Sunday, May 20, 2018 at 4:00 PM with Rev. Steve Hall officiating. The interment will follow at the Holsonback Family Cemetery in Aiken, S.C. The Pallbearers will be Francis Corbett, Jimmy Corbett, Randy Wright, Byron Wright, Jonathan Corbin and Ryan Bearden. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home the day of the service from 2:00 PM until the hour of service.
