Bette Doggett Obituary
AIKEN - BETTE JEAN DOGGETT, 41, died suddenly, Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Augusta University Medical Center.
Born in Warner Robbins, GA, Bette Jean grew up in Pascagoula, MS and later in Summerville, SC where she graduated from high school. She was a graduate of Clemson University where she was a member of Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority and served as an orientation ambassador. Bette Jean was an educator, teaching school in North Carolina and then Hammond Hill Elementary and Midland Valley Prep. She was the administrator of Midland Valley Prep from 2008 until 2013 when she became a full-time mom.
Survivors include her loving partner, Trevor J. Monica; her daughter, Mincey C. Monica; her son, McIntyre J. Monica, all of the home; her parents, Kathy Reynolds Mincey and Christopher B. Mincey, Gautier, MS; two brothers, Brad Doggett (Brooke), Summerville, SC, Brian Doggett, Summerville, SC; grandmother, Violet Faye Mincey, Millington, TN.
The family will receive friends Saturday, November 25th beginning at 12:30 PM followed by the funeral service at 2 o'clock.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Augusta (www.rmhcaugusta.org).

I miss you Mrs. BJ. I remember you telling us about the time you spent at clemson, and us watching SAVED BY THE BELL, and talking about Justin Timberlake! You inspired me to be greater! Thank you! You were my 6th grade teacher, but always a part of my middle school life at MVP. You were my cheerleading coach, the GREATEST cheerleader yourself! Your spyder you drove was the COOLEST! My oldest daughter just graduated from 6th grade herself, and im reminded of the amazing memories you gave us!

Bette Jean was the sweetest. I will always cherish our memories together. Trevor, God has blessed you immensely with those 2 precious children that Bette Jean leaves behind. My prayer for you is that you praise God for his blessings even when it hurts like hell praise Him. He is your strength and shield. In the difficult moments ahead a single prayer for strength, courage and bravery will get you through it. Brian and Brad- Your words were spoken so beautifully and I know Bette is proud of you both. Sending my deepest condolences to the entire family.
