Avery Zorn Obituary
BARNWELL, SC - Funeral services for Ralph Avery Zorn, 59, of Barnwell, SC will be held three p.m., Tuesday, January 20, 2015 in the Folk Funeral Home Chapel, Williston, SC with the Reverends Tommy Hutto and Bert Baynham officiating; burial will be in the Barnwell Memorial Cemetery by the airport. The family will receive friends from one-thirty p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home on Tuesday and all other times at the home of his sister, Karen Creech, 496 Hidden Valley Trail, Barnwell, SC. Memorial contributions may be sent to Long Branch Baptist Church, 3223 Highway # 37, Williston, SC 29853. Avery passed away Friday, January 16, 2015.
Born in Bamberg County, he was a son of the late William David Zorn, Sr. and Ehrlist Hutto Zorn Antley. He was a member of Long Branch Baptist Church and worked as a maintenance manager at Macuch Steel Products in Augusta, GA. Avery enjoyed riding motorcycles and was a loving brother, father and grandfather who loved spending "family time" with his loved ones.
Survivors include his daughter, Leslie Z. (Chris) Crawford of Salley; sons, Derrick (Heather) Zorn of Williston, Darryl (Christy) Zorn of Barnwell; sister, Karen Z. (Steve) Creech of Barnwell; brother, William David
(Debbie) Zorn, Jr. of Cope; grandchildren, Jenna Marie Crawford, Harley Kaylan Zorn, Caroline Grace Zorn, Raiden Avery Zorn, Rylee Ava Zorn and a numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Ehrlist Diane Zorn.
