Alvin Tyler Obituary
Brooklyn, NY - Alvin Tyler, formerly of Aiken, SC passed at home in Brooklyn, NY on September 5, 2021, after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer.
He was born on October 17, 1958 to JD and Julia Tyler. Alvin was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on November 17, 1972. He graduated in 1976 from Aiken High School School near the top of his class. Shortly after graduation Alvin left home to serve at the World Headquarters of Jehovah's Witnesses in Brooklyn, NY, where he served for 27 years.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of 39 years, Lorraine Young Tyler. Three brothers: Ernell (Lillie) Tyler, Dennis (Paula) Tyler and Titus (Carma) Tyler. Four sisters: Ruth Tyler, Angela Tyler, Shawna Lloyd and Regina Patterson. 8 nephews, 6 nieces, 11 uncles, 8 aunts and a host of cousins and close friends.
A Memorial Service will be held via Zoom on September 18, 2021@1:00.

Dearest Lorraine:
