Dear Goodwyn Family,
I cried when I heard about your / our loss!
I was so lucky to have you all as a host family during the year of 1999/2000. Raoul treated me as part of family and i will never forget what he has done for me.

I was sorry to read about Al's passing. He and I were classmates at USC, but became good friends in the AF at Wiesbaden, Germany in 1956. We had a great time at our 50th Class Reunion in 2005. Al and I both knew Jim Carlen, USC's former football coach, in Germany and shared many laughs over the years. We were able to get together with Jim for lunch a couple of times here in Columbia. Al will be missed.
